Wedding Theme 1 Page of the Album

Good Morning Ladies...
Her is my submission for Erica's Design Team...  please be sure and check out her blog too... at
http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com/ ...  She has some great ideas too...

Now to my project...  I am doing a wedding album for a friend of mine's daughter... Wow, What a project this has become... LOL

But here is what I came up with for opening page of the album..  I dont like to start off with pictures... I like a title page...  But that is just me...

Of course, I am using Creative Memories pages... so this is the first page of the album..  This is the whole page...

The "It all started with a kiss" was cut using the Gypsy Font so that I could weld it all together... and it was cut at 1 1/2 inches...  I cut the whole thing out in pink and in black.. Then I glued them together just a little off center to give it the double look..

From the Sweetheart Cartridge I cut out the <datenight> couple..  I cut all pieces at 6.50 on the Gypsy..
First in black on the shadow feature...  then I cut out the couple in peach for the flesh tones, and again in gray
so that chairs and the table show up...  then I also cut them out in white...    When you look at the Layers feature, you will see that the couple and the pieces of clothes are all on the same button...  so I didnt want to waste all that paper to cut out all the clothes in different colors...  I cut them out in white cardstock and I colored it in with my markers...

The hearts were cut from the same Sweethearts Cartridge <datenight> s   on the Shadow feature... these were cut at 1 inch each... in red and pink cardstock...   then I just drew on the little stitching to show them off a little..

I hope that you enjoy my project..

Thanks for looking..

Jan 19th Art Philosophy Cartridge Day

Today were supposed to use the Art Philosophy cartridge from Close To My Heart ...  and here is what I came up with...

<Square1> on the Font layer is the cut to make...  @ fit to page on my Expression machine..  it will end up being 6 1/4...
I then cut out the <Heart1> on the Layer feature at 2 1/2 inches...  I put this together and then I used Crystal Stickles in the center ..

I then tied a little black ribbon to the one handle for just something extra.

I stamped on all the sides of the box usine Love Defined by Stampin Up... I used the border, flamingos and the I love you's on the sides..

I had a little bag with a draw string that I placed inside the box and added a couple of the Cricut tools in the bag...

What I cute gift this would be for a newbie to Cricut crafting...

Hope that you enjoyed...

Friday Jan 13th Project..

Good Morning everyone...

Here is my take on a sketch that we received from Erica at EricasCraftRoom...  I hope you like it...

First thing is the Pink paper is cut to 5 1/2 x 12 and glued down...  I then placed a black strip down, it is 2 x 12 is size...

The border is from the Art Philoposhy Cartridge <Tag5> cut at 1 1/2inches..

For the flowers I cut 2 of <Flower2> and <Flower2s>  at 2 1/2 inches and reversed the colors of red and black...

and then I cut the same flower at 1 3/4inchces...  from here I cut <cicrle3> at 3 1/2 inches,  I then cut this in thirds, to use as my title box..

"Lovebirds" is cut at 1 inch from the font only key...

For the journaling box I cut the <circle3> and 4inches in the poka dot paper and 3 1/4inches in white lined paper, glued both together and trimmed off some to make it flush with the page..

Hope you enjoyed this page...

Jan 11th's

Hey everyone...   Sorry this is late..  I have been having problems loggin into the blogger for the last couple of days...  so I am doing this from work...  shhh.  dont tell... LOL

Anyway, here is my submission for Would you ever Guess? this is where we show you what your cartridges can do ... just not the main project...

I used the Art Philosophy Cartridge.. but I used the tag feature on the left hand side... to make this card..

On my gypsy I placed two tags on the screen and the I flipped on over and matched them up...  then I welded them together...  the size on the gypsy screen said 3.50w x 11.39h.   After I cut it out in red... I placed a pink piece of card stock in the middle and trimmed off the edges.. and glued it down...

So now the pink shows thru the open cut heart in the tag...    I then cut out " I love you" for the Lyrical letters cartridge at 3.47" on the gypsy..  I run a little dotting action around the heart to make it stand out a little more..

I stamped on the inside of the card a little saying...

Hope you enjoyed the card ... Thanks for checking in..

100 cartridge blog hop with Erica....

Hello..  thank you for checking out my blog for Erica's Design Team..  Please check out her blog spot at
http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com/

You should have arrived at my blog from http://mississippihippycrafts.blogspot.com/  if you didnt... please start at the beginning of the list..

So on with my submissions....  I choose 3 cartridges:  Go Canada, 50 States, and Gingerbread..

  Here they are....
This is from the Go Canada Cartridge....  I have done a two page layout...  My husband and I visit Canada every year...  We love it...

I (heart) leaf Canada was cut using the Phrase from the <flag2>  2 3/4".  Shift in black and regular in red...

The <heart tag> all layers were cut 2 3/4"...  including shift.   the I tied some ribbon to it.. and ran the whole thing through my embosser with a swirly background..

The <flag1> was cut at 8" all layers at the same time...
and the little maple leaf guy was cut at 5"  all shapes and sizes...

I used pop dots to to make the bubble stand up...

Second idea for the blog hop   is from the 50 States Cartridge...

I used the 50 States for the West Virginia that I cut from heat transfer vinyl...  I cut this piece at fit to page size, of a 12 x 12 sheet...

My name was cut from the Hello Kitty Font Cartridge at 2"....

The Cricut Bug guy was cut at 6 1/2" for the Everyday Cricut Cartridge..

This was made for a meet up with the Cricut Circle...

and Finally, the third cartridge is the Gingerbread Cartride...

My Oh Snap!!! T-shirt was made for two other friends and I to wear... I thought that it was very funny...  LOL     The Gingerbread man was cut at 9" in Brown heat vinyl...

I cut a zig zag section from his leg and ironed it on to make it look like a break...  LOL
Hence the reason for "oh snap"  LOL

Oh Snap was cut at 2 1/4" from the Hello Kitty font on the round shapes...

Once it had cooled from ironing...  peel off the clear backing...  then I took puffy paint and outlined the gingerbread man to look like icing...

I hope that you liked my ideas for you today...

Friday's Project Pink, Red, or Brown for Erica's Team

This is for MyCricutCraftRoom.blogspot.com   Please go and check out her Blog...  Lots of ideas!!!!

Hello Everyone...  Sorry that it has been so long that I posted anything...  It has been a busy time of the year and then I messed up my neck, lots of trips to the chiropractor and lots of lost sleep.  But things are looking up and the neck is better.

So here is the project..  It is quite simple. But it is done with a different cartridge that you might not think of...   I used Martha Stewart's Elegant Cakes Cartridge..  and it is not for a cake, but a scrapbook page....

I cut the <Accent3> and the <Accent s 3> @ 6 3/4.  It is simple but makes a bold statement...  I chose pink and black to go along with the colors of the wedding album that I am working on for a friend's daughter.

Hope you enjoy!!!!

Stop back tomorrow, I am participating in a Blog Hop...

Thanks again,
Pattie
