Thursday Feb. 9th Bling Submission

Hello....   Today I am submitting for Erica's Design Team.  And today is BLING....   who doesn't love bling??  LOL
Please check out all of the other designs at EricasCraftRoom.blogspot.com

Here is my take on a little bling...

I used my gypsy to make sure that all my layers would meet up...  and I started with the leaves and the stem. I cut it at 11 inches...
then I started layering the petals of the flower..  I started at 8.5 in a peachy/pink color, then I cut on at 8. in white, then 7.5 in pink, then 7.0 in white, and the final flower was cut using the shadow feature in pink glitter paper...

Next I glued down all the layers and attached it to the leaves and stem...  then I rolled each petal to turn them up a little for detail...

Here comes the bling...  LOL      I took out my I-Rock tool and filled the center of the flower with yellow and a few purple ones in the very center.

Hope you like my little project...  the bag is going to be filled with scrapbooking supplies for a give away at
a cabin retreat this weekend..

Feb. 3 Project using Green

Hello Everyone..

Today we were supposed to use GREEN as in our project...  Please be sure to check out http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com/  for additional ideas using Green..

Today is my birthday... and I love the color "Green"  so this was right up my alley..

Here we go...

First I started of using my Gypsy...  I cut "Irish Luck" at 1.25 using Ashlyn's Alphabet using the cursive feature..  and then I welded them.  I cut this using a simmery green paper..

The shamrock was cut from the Indie Art Cartridge and was cut at 3.50 inches...  Here I used a darker green.

  Hope you like it..

Winter Sports Feb 2nd...

Hello everyone...  today's theme is Winter Sports...  please check out EricasCraftRoom.blogspot.com for more ideas...

I used the Go Canada Cartridge for my project...  Since I do not do sports myself.. I have to rely on others... LOL

I started off with <Hockey2> and all the layers were cut at 4 inches... and glued together..

next I completed the goalie stick which is part of the net layers.

then onto <Hockey1> and all layers to make the other stick and the puck...  and they were cut at 4 inch also..  and glued together

<Hockey2> Phrase   "he shoots he scores"  was cut using the shadow and regular was cut at 2 1/2inches..

and Finally with the Font Button I spelled out the game that we attended..  "Nailers vs Royals" was cut at 1 inch...  and I cut the "vs" twice to give it a different look...  I believe that it was the in Font Shadow that I used..

Just to break up the colors for the mats for my photos...  I cut the red and blue one in half.. and placed them together for a different look...

Hope that you enjoy...

Thanks for looking...
