Hey everyone... Sorry this is late.. I have been having problems loggin into the blogger for the last couple of days... so I am doing this from work... shhh. dont tell... LOL
Anyway, here is my submission for Would you ever Guess? this is where we show you what your cartridges can do ... just not the main project...
I used the Art Philosophy Cartridge.. but I used the tag feature on the left hand side... to make this card..
On my gypsy I placed two tags on the screen and the I flipped on over and matched them up... then I welded them together... the size on the gypsy screen said 3.50w x 11.39h. After I cut it out in red... I placed a pink piece of card stock in the middle and trimmed off the edges.. and glued it down...
So now the pink shows thru the open cut heart in the tag... I then cut out " I love you" for the Lyrical letters cartridge at 3.47" on the gypsy.. I run a little dotting action around the heart to make it stand out a little more..
I stamped on the inside of the card a little saying...
Hope you enjoyed the card ... Thanks for checking in..

The <flag1> was cut at 8" all layers at the same time...
and the little maple leaf guy was cut at 5" all shapes and sizes...
I used pop dots to to make the bubble stand up...
Second idea for the blog hop is from the 50 States Cartridge...
I used the 50 States for the West Virginia that I cut from heat transfer vinyl... I cut this piece at fit to page size, of a 12 x 12 sheet...
My name was cut from the Hello Kitty Font Cartridge at 2"....
The Cricut Bug guy was cut at 6 1/2" for the Everyday Cricut Cartridge..

and Finally, the third cartridge is the Gingerbread Cartride...
My Oh Snap!!! T-shirt was made for two other friends and I to wear... I thought that it was very funny... LOL The Gingerbread man was cut at 9" in Brown heat vinyl...
I cut a zig zag section from his leg and ironed it on to make it look like a break... LOL
Hence the reason for "oh snap" LOL
Oh Snap was cut at 2 1/4" from the Hello Kitty font on the round shapes...

Friday's Project Pink, Red, or Brown for Erica's Team
This is for MyCricutCraftRoom.blogspot.com Please go and check out her Blog... Lots of ideas!!!!
Hello Everyone... Sorry that it has been so long that I posted anything... It has been a busy time of the year and then I messed up my neck, lots of trips to the chiropractor and lots of lost sleep. But things are looking up and the neck is better.
So here is the project.. It is quite simple. But it is done with a different cartridge that you might not think of... I used Martha Stewart's Elegant Cakes Cartridge.. and it is not for a cake, but a scrapbook page....
I cut the <Accent3> and the <Accent s 3> @ 6 3/4. It is simple but makes a bold statement... I chose pink and black to go along with the colors of the wedding album that I am working on for a friend's daughter.
Hope you enjoy!!!!
Stop back tomorrow, I am participating in a Blog Hop...
Thanks again,
Pattie

Penguin Page
I am not sure if this ever made the post to Erica's Craft Room... but I thought that I would post it anyway...
While my hubbie and I were in Cincinnati for the Cricut Circle meetup, we went to the Newport Aquarium.. and we got to go behind the scene and pet the penguins... it was so neat....
here are a few of the pictures that we took....
I cut the penguin from the Animal Kingdom cartridge... I believe that I cut it at 8 ....
I used stickles like in clear and made it shiny... I was going for the wet look...
I am not sure if you can see it or not... but I put a pop up tab under the little penguin... so that he would sit up a little bit....
Hope that you enjoyed my page this time...
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. to everyone..

Theme Thursday.... Ocean
Today is Theme Thursday... and today it is dealing with Ocean things...
He is my submission...

He is my submission...
To start with I cut the waves... and I cut 8 total, from the Pack Your Bags Cartridge.
the waves were cut a 7" from layer 1... I then inked the edges for a little effect.
I also put one layer straight on the page and pop dots the other two.
the ship was cut from the Pack Your Bag Cartridge @ 4" <ship4> and all layers
The dolphin was cut from Life's a Beach Cartridge at 2" and the same for all layers
On the layer I used a silver glitter pen to give him a wet look.. I placed him coming out of the water.
the fishes were cut from the Traveler Cartridge from Creative Memories, and
was cut @ 1 1/2" from all layers.. I then inked them a little to add defination..
The little whale is from the Pack your Bags Cart.. and he was cut @ 2" and so was his
little water cut out...
The 3 Hour Tour title was cut from the Alphabet that comes with the Expression 2
from Creative Memories.. and was cut @ 1"
Hope you liked my idea...

Giving Back Blog Hop
Welcome to the Giving Back Blog Hop!! We wanted to give back to the person who has given so much to us! So this is in honor of Erica from My Cricut Craftroom.
You should have come from Ricki Sholler's blog at http://manicexpressiondesigns.blogspot.com/. If you are starting at my blog, you will want to start at Kat's blog so you dont miss any of the great layouts. When you done hopping, you will want to go to Erica's facebook page (http://ericascraftroom/) and leave a comment on her page. We will be randomly selecting someone from those comments to win blog candy.
Here is my page, we were asked to create a 8x8 page, and an album will be constructed for Erica to fill in with her pictures.
For those that know Erica or even for those that don't... She loves Zebra stripes... She has the only Imagine machine with Zebra strips... LOL You can stop her machine from a mile away.. And it looks GREAT!!!!! So I decided to do a page with her machine on it.
The machine was cut using the Cricut Everyday Cartridge, a Circle Exclusive.. and it was cut at 3", including all layers.
Erica is also a Cricut Addict... LOL Aren't we all???? So I thought that was only fitting. This was cut at 3" also.. and from the Cricut Everyday Cartridge.
The little Cricut Bug was cut at 1 1/2".... Don't we just love the Bug???
Thank you Erica for all you do.... We just wanted to let you know what you mean to us..
The next stop on the hop is Amanda Haynes at http://craftsbyamanda.blogspot.com/

Scrapbook Saturday with Erica's Craft Room
Hello everyone,,, I have submitted a new double scraapbook page with Erica's Craft Room.. Hope you enjoy it...
My Chillin by the Pool pages were doen using the Pack your Bags cartridge...
First I cut out the Lady @ 4 1/2 and all layers too... but I only cut out for her eyelashes.. I didnt want to waste paper knowing that it was going to be covered up anyway.. So I started the cut and stop my cricut after her head was done..
of course, I changed the color of her hair... to match mine... and i used one of the flowers that I cut out for the man's trunks on her bathing suit <shorts> layer 2 cut at 2 1/2... I always used a little stickles on her drink.
The man was cut @ 8 1/2 and all layers... I did cut the umbrella off because I didnt want it on my page.. and I cut out <man-s> but I only used the shape of hair... I wanted him to have dark hair like my hubbie...
for his shorts <shorts> layer 2 for flowers on man's shorts was cut @ 1 3/4... and also <shorts> layer 1 @ 1 3/4 for man's shorts again....
Chillin by the pool phrase was cut 2" for all layers... I used glitter aqua paper to look like water...
<sun> was cut at 2 1/2 for all layers... but I didnt like the small circles for the cheeks ... so I did my own.. by hand..
To make the pool I just cut gray cardstock to look like concrete.. You can cut it to fit your page.. and then I cut the water about an inch or an inch and half smaller from some paper I found that looked like rippling water...
I can't wait to add my pictures to this page... My hubbie took a photo of me at the pool reading a scrapbooking magazine, of course... It will look great...
Thanks for coming by and checking my page.... don't forget to also check out Erica's Craft Room for other designs from other in the design team...
