Scrapbook Challenge for 4/16/12 w/ Erica's Craft Room

Hello Everyone...

I am posting today for the Scrapbook Challenge for Erica's Craft Room Design Team.  Please remember to stop over at her blog for so many more designs.  Visit http//:ericascraftroom.blogspot.com.

Well here we go....  The challenge was do a layout using pastel yellow, green and another color..

I started off by cutting out the grass.  I used my gyspy and the Create A Critter and 1 1/2 inches
and I welded 5 or the together..   and I cut out 2 of each.

I glued down the first one directly to the scrapbook page and the second I used pop dots to make the stand up on top of the first one..  I also placed them a little off center so that you can see them all

I then cut out the eggs using different colored papers for each egg.  And I used the Smiley Cards cartridge on my gypsy again..  I cut 4 of them @ 1 3/4 inches, next I placed them in the grass and I attached one to the title.

For the title I used Ashlyn's Alphabet<shift> on my gyspy, once again, so that I could weld them together.  The title was cut at 1 1/2 inches.

For the photo mats, I used a printed sheet of paper with some pastel leaves.
For the large mat it is 6 1/4 x 6 7/8 inches.
For the smaller mat it is 5 x 3 12 inches.

Hope you enjoyed my layout.

Remember to stop at Erica's Craft Room for more ideas.

Thanks, Pattie

Theme Thursday.... March 8, 2012

Good Morning..

Today is Theme Thursday and the theme is PINK...   who doesn't love pink?  LOL   Well, today with EricasCraftRoom everyone will be doing something with pink in it...

It just so happens that my mother-in-laws birthday is coming up on Saturday, so I made this card for her and I used 2 different shades of pink, with a little glitter...

On this card I used the Sophie Cartridge for the oval.  <Label 4> and <Label 4-s> were cut at 3 1/2 inches.
The outer oval is cut from pink glitter paper.
And the "Happy Birthday" is cut from the Letter Envy Font Cartridge at 1/2 inch..   I cut it in black but then ran over it with a glitter marker that I had to give it some shine.

I then used my I-Rock and glued black stones and one clear stone in the center of each flower.  And I found a fuzzy rick-rack ribbon and glued it on too...

   Hope you like it...

                                                     Additional  Project.....

For those of you that went to my site for the March Blog Hop and commented on the Snowman page...
I placed it in his frame, and some said that they wanted to see it in the frame...      So here the picture that.

Good Morning everyone...  Welcome to my blogspot.  Hope you like my projects..

You should have came from Tracy's blog, at http://scrappininthewoods.blogspot.com/
if not please start at the beginning of the Hop so that you don't miss any of the projects.

My first project is done using Mickey and Friends Cartridge.  I was suppose to go scrapbooking at a cabin with a group of friends but I got sick and couldn't attend.  But I had started making these for us, so I am going to give them to the girls anyway..

I think that it came out pretty cute..
Starting with >Mickeyhs> and all layers at 4".   Instead of using the usually Disney colors, I chose to make it look like a cabin in the woods..

The Cabin Weekend words are from the CM Traveler Cartridge..  I used the Road Trip Font Shadow @ 1.50 on my Gyspy to weld the words together.
This Font is quickly becoming my favorite font.

My second project is using the CM Tis the Season Cartridge.

I set all of this up on my Gypsy using the layers..
To get started I cut <Snowman1> and <Snowman1-s> and all layers were cut at 7.75 inches.

The words "Snowman melt your Heart" were cut using the Santa's Workshop Font at 2" and again
I welded them together with the Gyspy.

I then glued this all down on a beige 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of cardstock. And I am going to purchase
a frame to hang in my home.

And for my third project, I used the Cupcake Wrappers Lite Cartridge.

Both were put on the Gypsy and I blew them up to fit on 1/2 of the mat.

The daisy one <Flower3> and then lightly inked with a ocean blue color
then you just slide the pieces together.

Then next you take a pair of big fluffy socks and roll them, starting with the toes and roll them together,
then scrunch them into the cupcake wrapper..

Then I pulled up on the center a little to make it stand up a little.  To give it height..

The pink one is <Accent3> and then I used my I-Rock to add some bling to this one...
What girl doesn't like bling?  LOL

and the same as the blue one, you just slide them together...
On both of these I did not do the solid piece that you can make so that additional colors show
through..  I wanted the colors of the socks to  show through..

Hope you like my work...  I had fun making them..
